Trying to build email list

I have a amazon affiliate site that gets about 2500-3000 visits monthly but not converting very well. I want to start building email list but i am not sure what incentive to use to make visitors leaving their email addresses. I am looking for some ideas that i could use. The site is in the garden equipment niche.

Also, can you recommend me some opt-in email script that i could use?
