I got a client to page one on google for a particular keyword with 135,000 global and local searches. He has been on the number one spot approximately a full month (cleared cache and logged out of gmail). I had a few people check around the country and he shows up number one as well in other markets. Now based on what I read 35% of all search traffic goes to the number one spot. Correct me if I am wrong but 35% of 135,000 is 47,250 clicks. Well, we are no where near that. Only got about 80 clicks in 30 days and some of those clicks where from craigslist ads... Am I missing something or is Google lying?
