I have been manually doing SEO on my site for about 2 months now. It is an affiliate site. As well as doing back linking manually, i am running a campaign on GSA SER to post to only pr3 or higher sites. I also have farmed out some link building to people on this forum. My main keyword has about 50k searches each month.
When doing some research on my competition, it seems that some websites are about the same age as mine but are already ranking on the front page. I am not sure how long they will stay there, but they have a great variety of links.
Would it be beneficial to also add in some back links from low pr sites, as well as blog comments, guesbooks, and directories? Would this help in the rankings? I feel like building some of these sort of links would make it look more natural. What do you guys think? Thanks!
