First of all i'd like to say thanks to this forum, everything I have learned is from Blackhatworld. I am new to the game - about 6 months in and i make about £2k per month from SEO as passive income, not because of my SEO skills but because of my contacts. Below is the strategy i have been using although I am just about to update it.
Therefore i though I would share the below to first of all help any noobs, and secondly get feedback on what I am doing and any advice. As you will see Month 3 is a little bit dated and i will be adding Fb shares and retweets to this process too.
Each site I work on adds between 7 thousand and 10 thousand words per month of quality 100% pass copyscape content. All of the below is carefully scheduled across each month.

-600+ social bookmarks + ping
-22 PR8 to PR5 Social Bookmarks
Social Media
-150 Forum Profile Links
-Create and submit RSS Feed to Over 175 Sites and Directories
-Write 500 word article for SeNuke X Blasts, 24 social network and 16 bookmark modules
Penguin safety tactics; linking to all pages on site using LSI keywords
-3000 forum profile backlinks drip fed over 30 days
-1300+ Social Bookmarking Drip Feed
Directory Submissions
-1500 High PR web directories
-450 pr3 to pr6 free directories

-41 high PR ******** permanent co uk links
Document backlinks
-Write press release between 300 to 400 words
-Submit to 35 press release distribution sites
-Submit to 1000 News Media, Magazines, TV, Radio sites
