Adsense to top of site? with WP

Hey guys is it possible for me to add an adsense ad above the website its sounds strange but if you look here www.howtogeek.com you will see what i mean at the top of the page, also does anyone no how i can add it just below the menu bar? Im not too good with PHP so its mega confusing me.
