My SIMPLE seo strategy to rank Low Competition keywords!

I'm sharing my SEO strategy that I use to rank my innerpages for low competition keywords in less than 4 weeks. I'm doing this for 3 reasons: First, so I can get feedback from you guys. I'm always ready to change, add and improve my strategy so feel free to comment. Second, helping out newbies and people that are stuck is a great thing to do and what BHW is all about. And third, to shut up the people that are spreading that awfull saying "SEO is dead". Honestly, I really don't see the big fuzz about SEO and why it's difficult? I ranked my first 5 keywords a month after I started IM and I pretty much knew from the start that SEO all boils down to quality links in your tier1. Sure I'm only making a couple of bucks a day with Adsense of these 5 keywords but it's all about scale, right? Just don't get lazy and don't be affraid to spend some cash.

Now, don't expect anything ground breaking or super new. Like I said, it's a simple but effective strategy. Also note, my complete strategy is based on services here on BHW. Most of it is outsourced in other words. So here we go..

Step #1 - web2.0 blogs
Create 15 quality web2.0 blogs with at least 400 words of content. It's really important that you vary these web2.0 blogs. Vary in word count, amount of posts (between 1 - 3) and used platform. Use videos, images and create an about page on some of these web2.0s. And only unique content of course! No spun, scraped or unreadable crap in your 1th tier! It's important that you put some time in this step as this part of your 1th tier will carry the most weight. Don't forget to add only 1 link to your site and another one to a related web2.0 or authority site. I actually prefer to link back to other web2.0's of the same platform because it looks like you are interacting with the whole "community" idea.

Step #2 - doc sharing
Pretty simple step. Create a simple article with some fancy images and stuff and submit it to 5 - 10 high pr doc sharing sites. No big deal or hassle about this. Just do it ;)

Step #3 - bookmarking
Throw 200 general bookmarks to your money site and 15 high pr bookmarks (folkd, technocati, ect.)
Make sure the 200 general ones are decently spun. 2 sentence rewrites + word spun is the minimum I use. The 15 high pr bookmarks should be unique.

Step #4 - high pr blog comments
20 - 40 ONPAGE pr3 - pr7 comments. There are great services here on BHW that deliver these at affordable prices. Just a quick search will get you what you need.

Step #5 - video sharing
Create or outsource a video that talks about your site or keyword. Vid should be at least 30 - 45 seconds. Not saying longer is better but it just looks better. Put the video on youtube, vimeo, etc.

{Optional} Step #6 - high pr blog network
The reason this step is optional is because often the first 5 steps are enough to get you on page 1. Since networks tend to be more costly, I consider this overkill and unneccessary costs. But I'm going to try to include this step for harder keywords and see if this is the missing link. People with experience in this field will be able to tell you more about this.

This is our 1th tier. Time for backing these links up with a tier 2 for some link juice :)
I'm not going to make this too complicated since the 2th tier consists of bookmarks and wikis. I start with sending 1200 bookmarks to the web2.0's, video links and doc sharing sites. This ensure very fast indexing and after that I hit the Web2.0's and doc sharing links with 4000 wikis. These wikis get an additional tier 3 of 20.000 blog comments and basically that is it.

Like I said, nothing ground breaking.. just simple and effective :) The overall costs for a campaign like this are about $100. The more tools you have and the better your content writer rates are, the less expensive it gets. Feel free to advice, comment and ask questions.
