Hey guys,
I was taking notes about my Google ranking in the last few days as I had a traffic spike back up after a few weeks of slowly falling traffic. And today my position has been taken by a competing page that appears to be weaker.
It made me wonder about something:
If there are many pages on one domain (controlled by random users), that Google deems relatively equal, trying to rank for the same KW is it possible that Google runs some kind of A/B tests with these pages by ranking them 1st page a % of the time and tracking user satisfaction on that data to create a deciding rating?
