I've been given an unusual assignment - help

Hi Guys,

So I have been given an assignment im not familiar with yet - identifying and analyzing my clients competitors - not in organic search, but rather in Social Media.

Right now I'm checking the top 10 Google positions for my clients keywords and seeing whether or not they have social media properties (and if so, to what extent).

This is a very daunting task. Is there a better way to go about doing this? Does anyone know any software for social media competitor analysis?
