facebook has banned my account?

I have one real and one fake facebook accounts. The fake one, I have not logged into for a long time, probably a year.
so today i tried to log in, and it says facebook has disabled it.

Is it because its a fake name? how would they know? The name is a common name, like John Edison. If I contact them to get it reactivated, will it be easy, or that account is pretty much toast?
