Can someone confirm this

If in image is not stored on my site that is using ADSENSE but it is stored on original source is that copyright infringement. If I use <img src="ORIGINAL URL SOURCE"> it will display image on my site but it is not stored on the server, Is that copyright violation? I think its safe but just want to make sure.
