Hi. I am looking for somebody experienced to either become my mentor or my partner. Depending on how we handle it, this partnership can lead to some extra hundred dollars every month for you. Something around $300 to $900 for you maybe but I do not want to commit to an exact amount just yet. Before I begin, let me give a brief introduction about myself.
I am Jackmitch. I have been doing SEO work for roughly 3 years now; the first year as an article writer for a company and the next two years expanding my knowledge (albeit slowly) on SEO and offering my own private services. I have found steady clients who I have been working with within those two years. I have been making an average of $500 monthly (gross), all things considered, but that figures tend to dip up and down. It was only after I discovered BHW earlier this year that I began to really expand my knowledge on Internet Marketing. I joined only recently and only truly became inspired earlier this December. This is the first thread I am posting so I hope I am not breaking any rules and that I am putting it in the right spot.
Now let's get to the point. A number of my clients are satisfied with my service and have the impression that I am a big expert in matters concerning SEO. Truly, however, I can only offer basic services and cannot make a big and fast impact on their rankings; they just think I can, which, to me, is very important since this is how I will get them to pay me more money for better services. I could learn everything on my own but it might take too long. It would be a process of trial and error (I wonder if this will work, oh damn it didn't! maybe if I do it this way...) you get the idea. I have clients ready to throw their money at me for services I know others more knowledgeable can provide but I cannot as of now. Instead of declining their offers (and throwing away good money) I want to work with or be an apprentice for somebody who knows what to do. You teach me and be my mentor so that I can learn more efficiently, we team up and offer different kinds of services, or you just give me instructions on what to do and I do everything. Whatever works best.
We can talk and make arrangements on how exactly the money will be split between the two of us depending on how much work one or the other has to do. Now clearly this will require trust between the two of us. You have to trust me to actually pay what we agreed on and I have to trust that what we do will actually work otherwise I risk losing my long term clients and this would devastate my income.
I am a motivated man and I am better at finding clients than providing the services they need. I am very willing to pour a lot of my time in learning and making more money for myself and I am looking for the best way to do this. My goal for this year is $3000 per month. I see lots of possible ways to do this but the best way, I believe, is to continue doing what I already know and get better at it. I already have clients telling me "I know I can trust you to take control of my site and if you can make me rank #1 for this keyword, I will pay you $xxx for that and continue paying you for maintaining that position."
Basically, I am looking for somebody capable of making a website rank #1 in Google in a short (but reasonable) amount of time and is willing to stay in the shadows and let my client believe all the work is coming from me. It would be bad for me if they found out that I wasn't doing everything. I'm sure you guys could imagine what sort of reaction they would have.
I'm aware of how bad this all sounds and of the amount of trust involved just for this to work out so I hope that we can come to an agreement on how much you will be making out of it for it to be worth your time. I am in it to learn more about how to make more money. That is my real aim in doing this. Once again I would like to state that I cannot guarantee how much either of us will earn from this. If my clients are happy then they'll pay me. If I am confident I can provide what they are looking for, I will get more clients (this, I know I can do). It will take a lot of time (and probably test your patience... my apologies for that in advance) to reach my goal of $3000 a month and that's okay with me. I would be more than ecstatic just to reach $1000 per month after half the year has past, you know? That's a lot of money where I'm from and it would be enough to support my family. But I want a good life for them. I know this is possible since the big guys in here can do better than that. I am not as talented as you guys and would not presume to hope to make as much as you guys do in such a short time. But the possibility of making thousands of dollars each month alone is what drives me. The journey threads on here can attest to that.
