Domain meanings.

Hello all, so i'm learning a lot of things here, already learned some and used and of course earned too :)

So basically I want to know, is there any meaning of com me net org domains, in example if i have me or net domain, not com domain, is that bad or its not better than com or other, I think u understand what I want to know.
