Okay, so I've always been wondering about tiers in link building, but I've never taken any action until today. I've read for a few hours, and now I wish that some of you experts could answer my question(s).
So this is how I think I should do:
Money Site
- High quality article(s). Some social bookmarking directly to the money site.
Tier 1
- Web 2.0:s (Wordpress, blogger, tumblr etc. (High PR sites in general, PR3 +)) all pointing with links to my money site. Also maybe a link wheel between all the web 2.0:s? - I write some articles for the web 2.0:s, but not a unique article for every site in this tier. I write some articles but spin them, maybe 95% uniqueness?
- To this tier I do social bookmarking, wiki links, article directory submission with backlinks to this tier, press releases?
Tier 2
- More web 2.0:s pointing to my tier 1? Link wheel between those too?
- Scrapebox spamming blasts pointing to these? Social bookmarking also?
- Highly spun content, doesn't have to be very unique.
Tier 3
- Is this tier really necessary? If it is, should I do this with web 2.0:s also?
- Random spam on high pr blogs etc
Okay, so now I would need someone to check on this and tell their opinion. I've also noticed that some of you are using a tier 4? : o Is it really necessary, or is it just for really competed keywords that you use the tier 4?
