Any Chinese BHWers in here? I need some advice

I have a music artist client who wants to launch a website in China.

What is a .CN.com domain like? Is this acceptable to use?
I understand a .CN domain is not available unless a Chinese based corporation is established by my client which is no possible for now.

Also,
He wants to link to an mp3 store where people can buy his music.
I know that piracy is huge in China ... but he still wants to link to either an itunes type store where people can buy his music.
I've heard Dangdang and Baidu are doing mp3s,

Any help or comments would be greatly appreciated.
