Ok so heres the deal. Ive been doing this over a year for one company I work for. Ive used nohandseo, scrapebox, sick submitter, my own white hat which includes (social sites, web 2.0's, twitter, facebook etc). Ive used google cpc search and display network. Ive also used fiverr gigs to round out some stuff...
Site was killing it in google with about 30-40 3-4 word keywords which pertained to the product we are selling at #1 spot, then a large amount nearly at the top. Then came along penguin/panda and the site got smacked pretty hard...then came back but didnt come back full strength. The few main money makers that we have in our website as main keywords and what really pertains to our product are there...#1 or close to it and the traffic is there as well the conversion.
But all those similiar keywords that were rocking as well havent come back, slipped more or even one main keyword I want to see has just been slipping from #1 to #10.
The site is making 1.2 million usd is annual revenue so it is a success and everyone is happy...EXCEPT FOR ME. I want to return this site to its former glory or at least do something slowly that will at least get back keywords that really I want.
I probably have around 5000 backlinks for the site now and worry about continuing to grow that profile.
So heres the question and what ive noticed. Since Im getting up in backlinks I worry about it looking to BS to google. So ive slowed adding links. I dont add them constantly like I was. I also heard to stop using anchor keywords and use like "go here" "click here" as its more natural. That would be something im wondering if your applying to get google to not get fussy.
Another is it possibly the slowing im doing of the backlinks. Also should I kick nohandsseo back on and just limit the amount of daily links now thats its an option. "which I suggested over and over and finally think I might have possibly gotten that to stick"
Im pretty positive that google looks for slow gradual process as natural...but my fear if its all nohandsseo than im stuck just digging a bigger ditch. I want more variety but to make it automated more.... I still go and write articles and put them out on blogs, have two other keyword built off host different ip etc etc websites that Ive gotten built and dont use the "brand name" but then target the site to our money site...
I have lots of profiles that I backlink the crap out of....because google isnt going to slap there own blogs or web2.0's for massive backlinking or is that perhaps bad too?
If you have suggestions please let me know. I would really like some info or help, maybe even work together with someone share ideas etc etc. Maybe a new tool....
Im going to play around with some stuff....and will post back results and will return the favors.
