I've been successfully doing whitehat SEO for over 15 years. None of my clients have suffered any affects from Panda or other updates, in fact, it's only helped their ranking. So I've never, ever looked into Blackhat - although knowing it exists - as my results have always been excellent otherwise.
But - I just took on a new client whose situation is dire. This guy's site was at the top of his game 2 years ago - but the SEO firm he was using did absolutely NOTHING and by the time he let them go and hired me, his business is tanking big time. In fact, his site now has nearly been driven into oblivion, as the competition is not only smart but pawningly fierce. He can't go another couple months like this or he is going to hit the pavement. So time being my enemy, I know there is no way I am going to save his company on whitehat SEO alone - it just takes too damn long. I've got to do something that will give immediate results.
I'm willing to step over to the dark side a bit, to get the results that will make him solvent, but without killing his business later. So what the heck do I do? I'm at a loss when it comes to this kind of strategy.
