I'm newly registered to this forum but I'm not that new to SEO because I've been lurking around on BHW for more than a year now. Always kept my knowledge of SEO and google algo changes up to date but never actually tried it. Got sacked 2 days ago from my offline job (central heating/plumbing) and I'm now gonna take my chances online. Anyway I made some sort of a plan to put up my first site but the recent chances created some questions. I'll spill it out here and I hope you guys can answer my questions and give me some much needed advice :)
MY PLAN
My original plan was to create some sort of MNS for a low competition keyword by adding around 15 articles on an EMD and play around with the seo to test my skills and see if I can rank for the main keyword.
I've been reading a lot about the EMD update and something says to me that this isn't the best option anymore. Maybe I should go with a non-exact-match, brandable domain and rank the pages for the keywords? What do you guys think? Does a page optimized for a keyword has the same chance as an EMD when it comes to ranking? I will be writing the content myself because I consider myself a decent writer.
My SEO Strategy: I'm trying to combine the best things from different SEO threads here on BHW. So far this is what it will look like..
1th tier: 10 costumized web2.0 blogs with each 3 - 4 unique articles. I also bought GSA SER because I just loved the trial. I will be using it to build 150 bookmarks + 150 articles to get contextual backlinks (articles, web2.0's and social networks). The PR minimum will be set to 3. But this brings me to my next question. I have noticed that GSA puts a link with the naked url in each profile it creates. Do you think this is harmfull? The text for bookmarking and article backlinks will be 500 words unique written by me and I will then use a manual service to spin it 2x on sentence level + word spun in each sentence. As last I will buy some social signals such as facebook likes, G+ and tweets.
2th tier: Create a spun article, bookmark, etc. with Wicked Article Creator and use it to point to my 1th tier, except the social signals. Again I will be using GSA SER to submit it to almost all quality platforms (article, directories, web2.0, social bookmark, social network and maybe some blog comments).
Please keep in mind that this strategy is for low competition keywords. I'm not sure it will be enough or if I should add something too it. Any advice or suggestions are welcome :)
